We keep things simple: we only collect what we need to send you your recipe cards and reply to you, and we never sell your information.
What we collect
When you buy a printable, we ask for your name, email address and, optionally, your phone number. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email, message and order number (if you add one) so we can reply. We don’t ask you to create an account.
What we don’t collect
We don’t use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels. When you search for a recipe, the search happens on your own device and we never see what you type.
How we use it
To deliver your PDF and receipt, answer your questions and help with your order. If you choose to tick “Email me when Grandma adds new recipes”, we’ll also send you the occasional email about new recipes. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
Making a card from your own recipe
If you use “My own recipe” on the Print a Card page, the recipe text or photo you add is sent to Google’s Gemini AI so it can tidy it into a card. On Gemini’s free service, Google may use what is sent to improve its products, so please don’t include private details. If you speak your recipe, your voice is turned into text by your own phone or browser; we never receive the recording. Your card stays in your browser until you order it.
Payments
Payments are handled securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help run the site, and only what they need: Cloudflare (our website host, which also protects the site from attacks), Razorpay (payments), Web3Forms (delivers contact-form messages to our inbox) and our email provider. Some recipe photos are loaded from Unsplash, which, like any website you load images from, can see your IP address. We never sell or rent your information to anyone.
Technical data and cookies
Like every website host, Cloudflare records basic technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a small security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots.
How long we keep it
We keep order details for as long as Indian law requires for accounts and tax, and contact messages only as long as we need to help you. Everything else is deleted when it’s no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time, or withdraw your consent to emails, by writing to hello@thegrandmasrecipes.com. We’ll reply within 7 working days.
Questions? Write to us at hello@thegrandmasrecipes.com, we usually reply within 2 working days.
